VTech VSmile Motion Learning Console Reviews
V Smile Motion
Eileen O'Neill from Northern Ireland - 4 out of 5.
Overall my 3 year old was impressed with his new birthday present :) He thinks it's his own miny Wii!Would like a few more games for his age to be added and the fact that a mains charger doesn't come with it is a bit annoying. Thankfully my son has a V Smile hand held and the mains lead fits both.
I would reccomend this to others who have active little children who love to learn n playV.Smile Motion

Grandson loves it...

I was a bit disappointed with the graphics BUT the important thing was my grandson loved it...I am really impressed with the 'wireless controller' - accidentally left it 'on' & it shuts itself 'off' - great...

Good fun for a child. Like a baby Wii. Games are educational and the wireless controllers are easy to use.1 people voted this review as helpful and 0 people voted this review as unhelpful.

Good be better

Santa brought this for our 4 year old girl.On the plus side:
its simple to use
the games do have an educational feel to them
On the negative side:
It does not come with a plug in adaptor so have lots of batteries at the ready for the console or good rechargeable ones. (Manufacturer suggests that the adaptor is a bad idea with kids aged 3-4 as the temptation to meddle with plugs with young kids should be avoided. (you still have to plug in the TV!!) They could still include this in the box as the product is supposed to be for up to age 9)
Some games are for 2 players and yet there is only a single controller in the box - I suppose all the games consoles fall short here in an effort to keep the price down.
The lid on the little box for storing the games seems a bit fragile
When you buy games it is not clear from the packaging whether games have 2 player options and if so it it simultaneous or take turns. The need for a second controller seems to be a bit hit and miss in this respect.
Overall, our daughter seems to like it a lot though I wonder how long before the urge for a Wii renders it obsolete.

What's in the box?
C. X. Linton-Willoughby from UK - 5 out of 5.
The console currently comes with an 'Action Mania' game cartridge. It requires 4 AA batteries. The controller needs 3 AAA batteries. Demo batteries of both sizes are included.8 people voted this review as helpful and 4 people voted this review as unhelpful.

Good Educational Product
Dr. Edward R. Salter from UK - 4 out of 5.
The product is simple to set up and good for kids who are just learning to read and do basic maths. If they haven't started that yet then they'll be limited in the games they can play. This is good for parents who want to keep their kids learning while playing and not sucumb to game-trash.36 people voted this review as helpful and 0 people voted this review as unhelpful.
