Very durable... lol

N. Stephenson from England - 5 out of 5.

My daughter has put this educational toy through its passes and then some.. and all I can say is that it has survived utter torture... She loves playing with this and the games on the tv. Wonderful product as it keeps her amused for hours... (intermittently)

Could do better

Karen from Ipswich, Suffolk - 2 out of 5.

We got this for our Little Boy and it has failed to keep his interest. The games are limited and there are far better items on the market for the money. He has more enjoyment with his crayons and books.

V.Smile Baby Review

Carol Torrance from Scotland - 3 out of 5.

I purchased this toy as a first birthday gift for my daughter. I am not unhappy with it but I think it is too young for her so far. She does enjoy pressing the buttons when it is not linked up to the tv though (not for long) and I am sure she will grow into it, like most of her other presents.
I am not impressed with the quality of the picture on the tv and sometimes the buttons don't seem to link properly with what is happening. I don't think she will mind too much though.
I would recommend trying to see the toy in action before purchasing because it looks better on the box. I got it for a good deal so I am not complaining. I would be less impressed though if I had paid full price for either the console or games.

What a waste of money!

S. Lund from Berkshire - 1 out of 5.

Our son loves books, puzzles, is very bright and smart but can't stand this item.

Despite various attempts to get him interested we have finally succumbed to the idea that this is not a medium that sparks his interest.

Excellent for the smarter child!

Ed Meister from United Kingdom - 5 out of 5.

This toy is excellent, certainly of an entertainment value to young babies with an active mind and yearning for learning. The ability to expand and add more 'games' also means this is a must for development of the young mind. Amusing children with a PS3 would be of concern but this is aimed at young minds with a grasp of the basics of education at an early age. Don't buy it if your child is going to be of the PlayStation generation, Do Buy it if your child is going to grow up with any degree of an educated upbringing!

Not Very Impressed

T. Inns from Manchester, UK - 1 out of 5.

Bought this for my 2.5 year old for Christmas (couldn't think of anything else) - too young for her - even she wondered why it was so boring - no thought needed. Hoped my 1.5 year old would find use of it - again too boring! A very disappointing Christmas present. Also a "bird" is referred to as a "birdie" - baby language not expected in an "education tool".

Buy an EyeToy game instead

James Morrison from Leigh-on-Sea or London, UK - 1 out of 5.

In my opinion, this is a poor quality product. The onscreen graphics looked really bad on our modern TV. The operation of the 'game' did not engage or entertain my 1 year old and still didn't when we got it out of the cupboad 1 year later. We have much more fun playing with the EyeToy games on the PlayStation and learning colours shapes and sounds from books, toys and cbeebies.
