Instant Hit - Best driving toy for babies I've seen
V. Lawley from UK - 5 out of 5.
My mother-in-law bought this for my son when he was about 5 months old and he was very quickly able to operate the basic functions. The feature that I've found best with this compared to other similar toys (he also has one of the ones that you attach to the pushchair but he's not even half as interested in that one), is that everything the child does with it gives some sort of response, including turning the steering wheel which is what he likes to do best and something which most other toys lack. Turning the steering wheel makes the 3 barrels on top roll which then triggers the toy to inform us that 'C is for caterpillar' or something similar, not that I'm sure my son really cares because as long as it has bright lights (of which this has plenty) and makes a noise (which it does) he's happy! In addition to the interactive steeting wheel it has a lever to pull or push that makes accelerating, or screeching braking sounds, a horn that shouts 'out of the way' and 3 buttons, one being a radio which plays a couple of lively tunes, another is a police siren that yells 'hey, slow down!' and another informs the child 'I'm out of petrol'.
My son's nearly a year old now and it's still a hit, especially as now he can actually pick it up and throw it on the floor, making yet more noise! Fortunately it's very durable so it just carries on regardless.

Very Popular and durable toy!
Mrs. Bryony A. Shaw from Ely, Cambs - 5 out of 5.
My son was given this for his first birthday. He is now getting on for 5 and this toy is still in pretty much as new condition. It has been thrown about and dropped from the top of the stairs and taken everything my kids can throw at it (or throw it at). It's still used every time he is pretending to go anywhere, "buckle your seat belt mummy, we're off to the seaside!" and is popular with most visiting kids. You have to turn the ignition key to start it up, very easy to turn even for my 2yr old. The toy then sparks into life with a voice saying things like "Are we ready? then off we go!" There is a button with e a petrol pump on "I'm out of petrol, fill her up" a radio button that plays a couple of upbeat tunes and a police siren button. The button in the middle of the wheel makes a beep beep noise and shouts "out of the way" and the gear sticks makes realistic car speeding up and screeching to a halt noises. When you turn the wheel the shapes at the top go round and shout vaguely educational things, but my kids find these very easy to ignore. It has a low and high volume setting and can be switched off completely underneath too. It can get very annoying but it no worse and a lot better than some. I would recommend this toy.12 people voted this review as helpful and 0 people voted this review as unhelpful.

Having suffered at the hands of my childless brother buying unsuitable (in my eyes altho my kids loved them) presents for years. I am now wreaking my revenge - my nephew loves this and it flashes and plays really loud music and it's really hard to turn off! YAY!5 people voted this review as helpful and 6 people voted this review as unhelpful.
